In current clinical work, endodontic therapy is also needed to solve many cases,. The editors, Lars Bjørndal,
Lise-Lotte Kirkevang, and John Whitworth, and their coworkers have made substantial changes to the third
edition of the "Textbook of Endodontology" by adding six new chapters. The book contains twenty-six chap-

microbiology and clinical diagnosis of these diseases.
Endodontic emergencies, the aseptic working field, access cavity preparation, root canal instrumentation,
irrigation and disinfection, root canal fillings, materials and techniques are the themes discussed in part three,
                                   "Endodontic Treatment Procedures".
The fourth part, "The Endodontically Treated Tooth", discusses the following: the root canal treated tooth in
prosthodontic reconstruction, measuring endodontic disease and treatment outcome, endodontic retreat-

and postgraduate students, and dental practitioners, providing them with the latest approaches to endodon-
